Weather Update: 9/16/2018 @ 5:30 PM

Northwood Animal Hospital "NAH" plans to operate regular business hours tomorrow Monday, September 17, 2018.

With that being said, please keep in mind that we may experience some limitations in staff, so please bare with us, as we will do our best to better serve you and your pets this upcoming week.

Our best advise is to check our phone system by calling our office, check our social media sites, as well as our website www.northwoodah.com for the most up-to-date information about our Hospital.

We encourage you to please be safe if traveling, there are some spots with standing water I encountered this evening, but nothing unmanageable if you drive carefully and alert.

A reminder that we are collecting pet food and pet supplies to ship or deliver to the affected areas in the coast. If you are able to bring by an item(s) that would be great!

ORIGINAL POST : 9.9.18 @ 10 AM

Dear NAH Clients and Community, please note that we will be monitoring the weather closely this upcoming week due to the possible threat of Hurricane Florence. We want you to know that the safety of our clients, patients and Staff is our top priority. Please see below for some important information.

-- We will post ALL important NAH operations information on our Social Media sites, Website and Phone Systems, as soon as they become necessary. Note that these can be updated often so checking them often is recommended.

--We encourage all patients who are on daily medications and or food/supplements to PLEASE make sure you check your supplies, as the possible delay before, during and after the storm is possible. This may come to us in delays of delivery from our suppliers.

--We recommend having some supplements such as Sileo or Composure handy as these type of storms can cause major anxiety in pets.

--Regardless of the weather NAH will have LIMITED staff onsite as we have the duty to care for our NAH pets, hospitalized pets and boarding pets. **However this does not mean we maybe open for operations**

--Please prepare yourself and your pet! We have added some picture files for you to look over and get important information on our Main Web Page. We have also included a link for your viewing to help you prepare below.

We care about you and your families so please be proactive and safe!
