At Northwood Animal Hospital our goal is to provide our clients with the best care for their pets in the area. We are happy to provide cost estimates for all of our services. During treatment unforeseen circumstances may arise which may alter the original estimate. We do our best to keep clients informed of additional costs as they are incurred.

Care Credit

Care Credit gives you the flexibility to make payments towards your pet’s healthcare bills.  Please visit www.carecredit .com or ask one of our representatives for more details or to apply for Care Credit. Please note this is not an in-house bill system provided by Northwood Animal Hospital, instead this is a third party company that subject to credit approval will allow you to charge services on account.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT THE TIME OF SERVICE OR UPON DISCHARGE OF YOUR PET. AN INITIAL DEPOSIT MAY BE REQUIRED FOR SURGICAL PROCEDURES AND HOSPITALIZED CASES.

There will be a $35 service charge for all return checks.  Any account turned over to collections after 60 days past due will be assessed an additional fee of up to 40% of the balance due or $100 whichever is higher.  All outstanding balances past 30 days will receive a billing/finance charge. 


 

PRICING POLICY

All prices are subject to change without notice. We can't control price increases by our suppliers.  Any prices shared via internet, email or by telephone are for rough estimate purposes only, and will not be honored unless a written estimate is provided by the client from us.  If a more detailed and exact amount is needed in regards to a procedure or cost of services clients are encouraged to ask our team members for a written estimate.

PRESCRIPTION SCRIPTING REQUESTS & ON-LINE PHARMACY REQUESTS

Unfortunately many pet owners do not know that issuing a prescription (s) for their pet (s) isn't quite as simple as pulling out the pad and a pen.  Sometimes the size of medications in the human and veterinary fields can vary, so our Doctors will have to look up what may be available somewhere else in order to ensure your pet's safety.  Sometimes our Doctors have to tweak the dose if we're changing medication.  We also need to take time to record the prescription in the patient's medical notes so that we can track it appropriately and any other doctors that see the records after that can know exactly what medications the pet is taking.  In some locations we have to do extra recording for controlled substances.  All of this takes time from our Doctors and/or support staff from helping out patients.

Due to the time that is invested in verifying prescriptions, preparing script prescriptions, in addition to the items mentioned above, Northwood Animal Hospital, beginning in 2017, will asses a $5.00 fee for each written prescription request and / or each on-line pharmacy approval received.

SCHEDULED SURGERY/DENTAL PROCEDURES

Late Arrivals* / Client Initiated Re-schedules* / No Shows*

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your surgery/dental could be rescheduled. Rescheduled surgeries/dentals will incurr a reschedule fee.  If you do not show up for your surgery/dental, cencellation fees will apply.

*There is a $50 Re-schedule/Cancellation Fee.
