Hello there, my name is Tiffany. I am from Mebane, NC. After graduating high school, I moved to Greensboro to attend Greensboro College. After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, I went on to manage many healthcare offices in the triad. Once my first child was born, I decided to become my son's primary caregiver. Not long after, I was invited to become part of the family at Northwood Animal Hospital. I was welcomed into Northwood with open arms. I walked in and knew this is where I belong. Ever since I was a child, I have been obsessed with animals. ALL animals. I believe animals are a privilege and should not be taken for granted. I believe in the power of rescue and encourage it to others. My favorite activities include hiking, creating video content, social media, and blogging. The furry members of our family are Mica, a blue merle Australian Sheppard and Jack, the Transylvanian Hound. They can often be found at my feet begging for whatever is in my hands. Now, come on over to our office and become part of our family!

Hi, my name is Jason! I am currently attending High Point University studying for my Bachelor degree in Organismal Biology with a minor in Business. After High Point University I will be continuing my education in graduate school for my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in hopes of one day becoming a Veterinarian.

I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but plan on staying in North Carolina after graduation. My prior experience involves volunteer work at animal shelters such as Guilford County Animal Shelter, and pet stores such as PetSmart. I originally found out about Northwood Animal Hospital when I got my first puppy and was in need of a good veterinarian. Northwood Animal Hospital was so helpful and kind when I came in that I knew I wanted to be a part of their team.

After a short time of volunteering, I was offered this great opportunity as a Kennel Assistant and I have enjoyed every second of it! I am excited to continue to learn and work with this amazing team of people every day and hope I get the chance to meet both you and your adorable pets!

Hola! My name is Amanda Valdes. I can officially announce that I am a part of the Northwood Animal Community and I am really excited! So far my experience has been awesome. Everyone has given me a wonderful welcome and made me feel like I am a part of the team. I came to North Carolina around three and half years ago from Cuba where I was born and raised. Growing up I had 2 pet dogs, 2 cats, a turtle and a bird. Unfortunately, they were not able to come with me to the USA but I know that my grandparents are taking great care of them! I currently have an adorable new puppy. He is a hyper 3 month old whom I love being around because he always keeps me busy. When my friend, Karen, told me about her wonderful job as a Kennel Assistant here at Northwood I immediately became interested in working with animals. I am very glad she shared her experiences here at NAH with me.  I am ready for this new experience and excited to care for your pets! Next time you are here please allow me to say hello to you and your pets!

Now I get the chance to look after many kinds of pets, and I’m really excited!
