Hola! My name is Amanda Valdes. I am really happy to part of the Northwood Animal Community and! So far my experience has been awesome. I came to North Carolina around three and half years ago from Cuba where I was born and raised. Growing up I had 2 pet dogs, 2 cats, a turtle and a bird. Unfortunately, they were not able to come with me to the USA but I know that my grandparents are taking great care of them! I currently have an adorable puppy. He is a hyper 1 year old whom I love being around because he always keeps me busy. When my friend, Karen, told me about her wonderful job as a Kennel Assistant here at Northwood I immediately became interested in working with animals. I worked as a Kennel Assistant for 8 months and for the past three months I have been helping in the Customer Representatives Area which I love because I get to know our patients more. I am very glad she shared her experiences here at NAH with me.  I am ready for new experiences every day and excited to care for your pets! Next time you are here please allow me to say hello to you and your pets!
